Behavioral sciences contain disciplines that explore the activities and interactions among individuals. It involve the systematic analysis and investigation of animal and human behavior through controlled and natural observation and also by scientific experiments. The purpose of behavioral science is the attempt to formulate legitimate conclusions and objective through rigorous formulation and observation. Behavioral sciences include psychology, psychobiology and cognitive science.

Behavioral sciencesBehavioral sciences are divided in two main categories: neural (informational sciences) and social (relational sciences).

The informational sciences are dealing with the processing of stimuli information from the social environment through cognitive entities to influence the decision making, social justice and social perception for individual operation and survival of individuals in the social environment. The informational sciences include: psychology, cognitive science, psychobiology, neural networks, social thinking, social psychology, semantic networks, etiology and social neurology.

On the other hand, the relational sciences are dealing with relationships, interactions, communication networks, associations and relational or dynamical strategies between individuals or cognitive entities of the social system. The relational sciences include: social psychology, social networks, dynamical systems analysis, agent-based models and microstimulation.

In essence, behavioral sciences in medicine represent the approach to understand and explain the human behavior in relation to their health. Moreover, behavioral sciences, contribute to the understanding of the various theories of human mental functions, but also regarding the interpersonal and social relations.

However, behavioral sciences take into account the analysis of the impact that human behavior is having on health. Moreover, behavioral sciences help to a better relationship between doctor and patient, practically following the development of the capacity to understand fundamental principles, and the complexity of interactions between the two subjects.

Behavioral sciences are considering the in addition to a proper functioning of the doctor-patient relationship and the development of communication capacity between the patient and his caretaker.

Behavioral sciences make you available a variety of mechanisms that can contribute to a better communication and collaboration with others. Thus, specialists in psychology, social psychology, psychiatry, sociology, biology, anthropology, economy, politology, general and dental medicine are meeting in the common platform – Academic Society of Behavioral Sciences.

Academic Society of Behavioral Sciences is an entity that aims to create a common framework for all actors involved in the management of behavioral problems, for prevention of occurrence of these imbalances, but also for improving the quality of life for people affected by such disorders.
